As you can see it’s still cold in New York and it doesn’t look like it’s warming up anytime soon. It’s kind of depressing because I feel like I’m wearing the same wool sweaters and coats over and over again. It’s a bit of a challenge thinking of new ways to reinvent and wear cold weather clothing in new creative ways. I wore this J. Crew elbow patch sweater on it’s own here but I think it looks equally as cute layered over my jewel collar blouse – my idea of creativity with limited options.
On the bright side though I really love how these photos came out! I’m really proud of Nick and how much he’s improved and mastered taking my blog pictures (for reference check out this 2011 throwback post here). He invests a lot of his own personal time into making my little hobby a reality – I’m so thankful. But seriously though isn’t the light reflecting off the snow gorgeous in these pictures? We definitely caught the golden hour at the perfect moment. It also helped that it was so cold because we barely had to deal with any photobombers 😛
