It’s definitely been a minute since I last wore red. In general it’s actually one of my favorite colors to wear, however during the summer months I rarely find myself gravitating towards anything in the hue. I’m blaming the excess of gorgeous pastel and bright pieces currently at Lilly Pulitzer… So so good guys. Anyways that is until I saw this beauty of a dress!
I donned this dress one of our nights in Aruba and totally felt like a human version of the 💃 emoji. The lightweight crepe fabric combined with a flared skirt that cinches at the waist (perfect for hiding food babies) made this one a total must-have for me. So flattering!

I may have to rock this dress again at some point this week thanks to all the champagne and fried food I indulged in this weekend. I don’t feel too guilty since I eat relatively healthy and exercise all week, but whoa, waking up this morning I definitely was second-guessing eating pizza for dinner two nights in a row 😛 Since my plan is to hopefully be in a bikini all of the upcoming holiday weekend, I’m gonna have to reign in the urges for junk food the next few days. Wish me luck guys!

Really like the dress…such nice lines (yes, perfect after pizza binges!). This would be super on a cruise. I hated getting dressed for dinner after a long day in the heat and sun. This style would be comfortable and look sharp!
