If it wasn’t obvious from my Instagram feed: I am 100% in fall mode. Sorry not sorry! This time of year always makes me so happy and just thinking about how in a little over 12 months we’ll be getting married just amplifies the feeling 🙂
While it’s not quite boot and coat weather yet, I’ve really been enjoying adding vests and the cozy pullovers that I blogged about earlier this month back into rotation. Here you can see two outfits where I wore the same top and pants, but you’ll notice I swapped vests and my boots. This is what I love about the cooler months. You can literally create so many different looks just by adding or removing layers.

I’m really digging long shawl vests and had to have this one as soon as I saw it. There’s always a chance with one size fits all pieces that it could be a complete fail, but this one has just the right amount of fabric that it’s not too bulky or long. I feel like this vest has so many styling options too. I’m already envisioning wearing it as a topper over a dress or skirt/blouse combo. PS it comes in 4 different colors!

Patagonia makes the kind of outerwear that you’ll use and own for years. I also love how Patagonia vests and pullovers are available in so many different colors— I’ll take one of each please!

I’m a vest nut! I think they elongate and are flattering. I even ordered a men’s small black cotton knit vest with our company logo to wear on sales appointments! When I had a youngster in tow, I had a fishing vest to wear on outings. Lots of pockets to load up with STUFF and no purse to haul!!!
