1 Floral Wrap Dress, 2 Ways | Day To Night Travel Style Tip
Floral Maxi Dress

With summer on the horizon and our trip to Italy just a week away (!!!) I’ve been trying to keep versatility in mind anytime I shop or add something new to my wishlist. Last month when I transitioned my closet for the warmer months, I ended up purging anything I knew I wouldn’t wear on a regular basis. It felt so good!!! PS I listed a bunch of items for sale on Poshmark 😛

This floral wrap dress is a recent buy that I knew would fit in seamlessly with my summer wardrobe and be perfect for traveling. Why? Well, as you can see it transitions seamlessly from day to night. As soon as I saw it, I was able to picture myself on my tourist grind exploring the streets of Positano and then ditching the hat and bag in favor of heels for sunset cocktails and a big plate of pasta. Clearly I’ve been doing some daydreaming…

So instead of showing you guys just one look, I figured let’s make both of my outfit fantasies a reality 🙂

comfy daytime style ready to pound some pavement…

This is my go-to #ootd for long days exploring on foot. I’m all about breathable dresses that I can just slip on, a panama hat to keep the sun off my face, a tote bag for holding the essentials and of course flat sandals. I always find gladiator styles really comfortable for walking!

feelin’ fancy for dinner & drinks!

Now for the evening look! Bye bye flats and big bag, hello heels and little clutch! See? With just a simple accessory switch up, the look is now totally appropriate for a nice dinner or cocktail party. I’d actually even wear this to a wedding!
