Neutral Winter Outfit + A Designer Bag Dupe
Rag & Bone Newbury BootiesGivenchy Satchel Dupe

Sometimes you need a lazy weekend. As you can see we got a bit of snow and thanks to Mother Nature we had even more of an excuse to cook comfort food and watch movie marathons all from within the warmth of our apartment.

I could’ve 100% stayed inside the entire weekend, however when we did (grudingly) venture out I took my new bag for a spin. Recognize it? Nope, it’s not designer and actually from one of my favorite wallet-friendly accessory brands. Keep on reading for the details, plus I’m sharing the delicious chili recipe I made on my Instagram story!

I was immediately reminded of a designer style I’ve been eyeing the second I saw this bag. Could it not be a mistaken for a Givenchy Antigona satchel? I’ve been dreaming about the real thing for months! It’s such a beauty. Maybe one day I’ll splurge and get it, but for now I’m completely content with it’s affordable twin.

So I got a lot of questions about the chili recipe I used over the weekend. I shared a link on Twitter, however for those that missed it– here you go! I’ve been making a variation of this one for years and it never disappoints. Often I’ll substitute ingredients based on what we have in our pantry (i.e. ground turkey instead of beef, diced tomatoes instead of stewed), but you get the idea. I made a full 12-serving batch ensuring I have lots of leftovers for lunch this week  😛

This cold weather has inspired me to keep out my crockpot– do any of you have a stew or soup recipe you recommend? What do you think about my new bag?
