Chambray Romper in the West Village

Side Stitch Chambray RomperAt some point when I was in high school my grandma surprised me with a chambray romper from Free People. It was so soft and comfortable. Literally whenever I couldn’t decide when to wear I would just throw it on with Jack Rogers. I wore it over and over again throughout the spring and summer for years. Then the WORST THING EVER HAPPENED…

chambray romper (so soft & under $100!) | Mar y Sol straw tote | Jack Rogers sandals (now 25% off!) | Panama hat | mirrored sunglasses | gold watch | David Yurman bracelets

One fateful college day while in a rush getting dressed I tore a huge hole in the side and ripped of one of the straps. I was SO upset. There really wasn’t any way to fix the damage without it looking crazy so into the trash it went. It was a sad sad day guys and I really never got over it… until now.

While browsing the new arrivals at my favorite store I found the lookalike romper I’m wearing here. It’s like the stars aligned. While this romper has sleeves and not straps, the fabric is INCREDIBLY soft and of course, it matches perfectly with my new Jack Rogers (now 25% off.) It’s like the universe had plans for me to find this romper six years later.

PS it’s under $100 and still available in every size. What are you waiting for???

Big thanks to Kendall for snapping these pics for me!
