Affordable Spring Outfit // Floral Flats & Belted Shirtdress

Blue ShirtdressThere’s nothing better than an affordable spring outfit that looks like it cost a fortune. This has to be one of my favorite recent looks, but you would never guess from seeing the photos that both my shoes and dress retail under $35. Surprising right?

I was wearing…
Payless floral flats c/o | Boohoo blue shirtdress c/o | Henri Bendel hobo bag c/o | classic trench coat | mirrored sunglasses | gold watch | David Yurman bracelets

The only item that could make a belted shirtdress and classic trench coat look even better? A pair of affordable floral flats. Yes! This pair is from Payless and I’m hooked on the floral print. Right now Payless is actually having a spring sale and many styles are marked down including these flats!

If there’s one style rule that I’ve learned since graduating college, it’s that the price of item makes no difference in how it looks on my body. I went through a few phases during my school years where I thought other people would notice if I wasn’t wearing name brand items. Ridiculous, right? I honestly credit starting my blog for helping me get over my struggle of feeling like I had to wear known labels. I got so many compliments on this look and it’s an awesome feeling knowing a few of the items I’m wearing are so affordable. Some of my favvvvorrrrite pieces in my closet are budget buys that I continue to reach for year after year.

Have any of you had a similar experience? Would love to hear your stories!

Big thank you to Payless for sponsoring this post!
