Lilly Pulitzer Dress at the Belmond Charleston Place

Upon arriving in Charleston we checked in to the Belmond Charleston Place, a hotel recommended by my friend Cathy. Guys, if you’re visiting  Charleston this is the place to stay. Not only is the hotel beautiful and well-maintained, but it’s in close proximity to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Charleston. You can pretty much get anywhere on foot and the hotel staff is so knowledgable of the city!

I had been saving this gorgeous Lilly Pulitzer lace detail dress for a special occasion so I decided to wear it our first night to dinner at Slightly North of Broad (so yummy.) Check out the rest of the post for more details on my outfit plus a closer look at the hotel!

If you’re looking to stay at a hotel with Southern charm and old world design, then the Belmond Charleston Place is where you want to make your reservation. I loved the regal feel of our room which featured an oversized bed with a wooden headboard, floor to ceiling curtains and plush furniture. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the accommodations were clean and spacious. While we did leave the hotel for a few of our meals, you honestly don’t even need to because there are multiple highly-rated restaurants right in the hotel along with the Shops at Belmond Charleston Place featuring stores like Kate Spade New York, Gucci, Everything but Water and Calypso St. Barth.

And no vacation is complete without a visit to the spa right? I was lucky enough to receive a 50-minute facial as part of the “I Will Reflect” Melanoma Awareness and Prevention initiative started by The Spa at Belmond Charleston Place. During the facial my esthetician educated me about safety during sun exposure while also doing a skin damage check. Not only was it a luxurious and pampering experience, but I also learned a lot too. As you can imagine, I was SO embarrassed that I showed up with some sunburn
