Off the Shoulder Peasant Top

Chic Wish Off Shoulder Top

It’s been another one of those weeks where time has just FLOWN by. This summer has been a busy one and I’m kinda looking forward to getting back into a regular routine. As you may have noticed, my blog posts have been a little sporadic thanks to all my traveling on the weekends and after work events. This will be my first weekend actually spent in my apartment in a month! A MONTH! I’m really looking forward to having time with Nick, cleaning (our place needs it), working on the blog and fitting in a few dinners/brunches out.

Flashing back to last weekend… I wore this look in Connecticut while visiting my cousins. I got a lot of compliments on Instagram when I first wore this top so I decided to style it again with my favorite shorts from J. Crew. It was a little chilly outside so the long sleeves kept me warm.

There’s something about the off the shoulder pieces that I just absolutely adore. Maybe it’s the fact that it reveals such a delicate feature of female bodies. Love this piece in particular, not pretentious or glamorous, just a very sweet top!

  7. Weekends at home with nothing to do (other than cleaning) are the best. So far, my Saturday has consisted of a load of laundry and a piece of red velvet cake. 🙂
