Apartment Refresh

Apartment hunting in New York is no joke – we found our current place pretty easily but I’m thinking the only reason we did is because everyone was scared away by the horrific paint job (yes, the entire apartment was neon orange and a dark grey/blue). Though the neon paint is now gone, after almost two years in our little place Nick and I are getting the itch to upgrade. It’s still up in the air if we’re going to be moving or not when our lease is up in September. Ideally we’d like to but it really all depends on our finances and whether or not we can find a place that’s enough of an upgrade that would make moving worth the hassle. In the meantime I’m thinking of making a few swaps when it comes to our current furniture and adding in some new decorative items for a much-needed refresh.

Apartment Decor Inspiration - Katie's Bliss

Convenience Concepts coffee table | Uncommon Goods camera pillows | Pottery Barn clock | C. Wonder frame | Marquee light-up sign | C. Wonder coasters | Target side table | Target nautical collection | Design Darling mint julep vase | Target decorative succulents | Uncommon Goods print | Crate & Barrel Malvern Cheval mirror | West Elm Abacus table lamp

Our current coffee table is way too big so I think we’re going to sell it and downsize to something smaller like this one from Creative Concepts. I’m also loving these cute vintage camera pillows from Uncommon Goods – perfect for a blogger right? Target also has a ton of on-trend in-expensive decorative items online right now. I personally love the nautical collection and these succulent arrangements.
