Inspiration | 2 Lace Looks

Happy Saturday everyone! I know I don’t usually post on the weekends but this week was so busy I just couldn’t find the time to fit in blogging. I’m hoping to catch up on a lot of YouTube and blogging over the 4th of July holiday next week! SO excited for a 4 day weekend.
I was browsing Shopbop the other day and I noticed so many pretty lace items – in particular this Nanette Lepore dress and this Tibi skirt. It looks like lace is definitely going to be a trend for fall. When I think of lace; I think feminine and girly – but it’s definitely a trend you can “edge up” if you want. Both of the looks I put together are true to my style – feminine and preppy – and are definitely outfits I’d wear around the city.

Elegant Summer Brunch Look

I was wearing…
One of things I love about New York City is the popularity of brunching. Seriously it’s the norm here on weekends to get dressed up and head to a three-hour long feast of breakfast fare and bottomless bloody marys. It’s ridiculously fun and right up my alley since I honestly don’t think there is anything I like more than pancakes and bacon. Maybe donuts, but yeah breakfast food is my favorite. I put together this fancy summer brunch look featuring items I picked from Missguided. I love the cut of this sleeveless dress – it’s light and perfect for hot weather. The blazer dresses up the look and the heels add an elegant touch and can easily be swapped out for flats.
