I continued my touristy NYC adventures with my cousin this week by heading to the Upper West Side. We toured the Museum of Natural History (which has been at the top of my list since moving to NYC) and of course had lunch at Shake Shack (you HAVE to go). The UWS is becoming one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city. Maybe I’m just swayed because it’s the first neighborhood in NYC I actually “lived” in. Not sure if I ever mentioned it here on the blog, but I subletted my first apartment for a month in August/September in the UWS before Nick and I got our own place downtown. Even though I was working long hours prepping for SS13 fashion week, it was the most comforting feeling getting to come home every night to my quiet and quaint little room uptown. The UWS really does have everything – food, shopping, pretty and quiet streets, (semi) affordable rent, lots of adorable babies and Central Park. Who knows – maybe one day I’ll move back?
