One of the coolest and most exciting aspects of working in fashion public relations is getting to work the occasional event. Whether it's a fashion show, press preview or launch party - we are always required to wear all black. Since I am on my feet a lot of the day, I wore my Wanted booties and then later on at the event changed into my Marc by Marc Jacobs pumps to finish off my all black look. Not my most exciting ensemble, but it is one that I will be wearing often given my career. What do you wear to work?

You can't go wrong with a basic black dress! I have a long-sleeve version that is great for work, events, even funerals (sad, I know).

I'm lucky that the magazine industry is pretty loose in what they require you to wear, but I've definitely had to stock up on dresses like this for events. It seems I can never have enough!
