Now that summer is coming to a close, it’s time to begin looking for key pieces in our wardrobe to incorporate into the approaching Fall season.  Fall is my favorite season fashion wise, however the transition can be difficult when adding layers isn't an option due to heat (at least in California).  

Luckily this season leather goes way beyond jackets and pants. There are so many faux leather pieces that are light and more breathable this season, and one of my favorite leather-detailed tops is my gray Zara Tee with faux leather sleeves. I love that it's so wearable during any season. I paired the versatile tee with a heavier, more Fall-luxe skirt for a girly meets edgy Summer to Fall look. 

In keeping with the monochromatic black and gray look, I paired this simple ensemble with black and silver jewels. Given the monochromatic look, I thought I'd spice things up a little by mixing textures with the faux leather, spikes, and woven metals.
