Lilly Scarf

My freshman year of college I developed an extreme Lilly Pulitzer obsession. Basically all I wanted to wear was Lilly and I think a lot of it had to do with my university being a southern school and the preppy mentality that my campus seems to project on everyone. Over time I've found a few others brands I love that pair perfectly with all my Lilly Pulitzer pieces. My murfee scarf is one of those classic Lilly items I that I wear time and time again. It's unbelievably soft and adds a pop of bright color to any outfit.
I was wearing...
Calvin Klein pumps via Macy's
Target sunglasses
Bracelets: J. Crew, Kate Spade

P.S. Don't forget to enter my Guess watch giveaway! It's ending in a few days :)

I go to private school in the NorthEast, and it's the same here! everyone EVERYONE AND EVERRYYONNNEE is obsessed with Lilly. The girls all wear shift dresses in the pinks greens and blue patterns that just DEFINES lilly. I went to a sample sale for them once, and I really wanted to buy something. but nothing there was my style, much as i was eager to own something "Lilly". I learned my lesson, and just like you, I was only doing it because of peer pressure! I'm so over Lilly now but I must say....that scarf sure is something! :)

I definitely got sucked into the Lily Pulitzer thing when I was at Elon...definitely via peer pressure! I have only bought once piece since graduating, and it is a solid lace dress in hot pink...not even one of their classic prints...I love the preppy factof of LP, but it definitely isn't my style nowadays! Perhaps when I have children, I'd dress my little girl in some of those prints!

I still love Lilly! Your scarf is a pretty pop of color.
