Lately the days are getting warmer and brighter so I'm starting to incorporate more of my warm weather favorites back into my wardrobe. I don't know who came up with the rule that you can't wear white before Labor Day but clearly they were not from the South. When it's 77 degrees outside I'm not going to resist the urge to pull out my favorite whites. Since I didn't want to look too "summery" I wore a short-sleeved sweater on top of my white dress. I think pairing a sweater over a skimpy white dress make the look more wearable for March.

Love this combo! Since I live in Florida, I also don't listen to the "you can't wear white after Labor Day and before Memorial Day" thing whatsoever. When it's hot outside, white is totally appropriate!
Sweetheart, I think you have your holidays mixed up. You can't wear white AFTER labor day (that's in September). Right now is before Memorial day (that's in May). Memorial day is when you're "supposed" to start wearing white again.
