Get Megan Fox's Style

A few days ago I came across a picture of Megan Fox wearing shorts, a chunky sweater, knee-high socks, and laced boots and I immediately fell in love. To me her style seems so effortless, like she doesn't even try. I love the shorts and tights trend so I was inspired to create an outfit around her look. Check out Megan and my inspired outfit below.

I decided to stick with green khaki shorts but I opted for a pair a little more loose fitting by DVF. I then paired it with a Rag & Bone chunky grey sweater (yeahhh no see-through for me this time). Instead of the laced combat boots I chose a laced wedge (and yes I totally would wear socks and wedges together). Then I brought the look together with ballet tights, knee highs, a leather bracelet, and a leather satchel. Simple but stylish huh?

What do you think of knee highs and tights? Love Megan's style? Let me know below!

Paul & Joe Sister, Tory Burch, Free People, $8 Dress

Words can't describe my love for the color combo of red and purple. I just love it. Now that I have my Paul & Joe Sister bag I can easily achieve a look incorporating these two colors. Also I promise this is the last post where I obsess about Paul & Joe.

Obsession with Paul & Joe Sister.

Tory Burch makes the best flats ever. Wish they were cheaper though.

I'm obsessed with painting my nails. Polish is the only thing that keeps me from gnawing them off. I also decided to get creative with my eye makeup. Usually I wear very neutral shadows but I decided to do a bright pink look using colors from my 88 palette.

This outfit kind of made me feel like one of those red hat ladies -- just substitute the red hat for a red bag.

My Outfit:
Jacket - Free People (about 4 years old) / Dress - Forever 21 ($8 on sale rack!) / Leggings - Target /
Flats - Tory Burch Reva Patent Leather Flats  / Bag- Paul & Joe Sister / Nail - OPI Elephantastic Pink / Eyes - Coastal Scents 88 Color Makeup Palette

Paul & Joe Sister Clark II Bag is MINE!

I recently blogged about a recent purchase from Gilt Groupe, the Paul & Joe Sister Clark II bag, that I ordered about two weeks ago. It arrived last week and it so much more than what I could've asked for. Usually I'm very wary about buying online. I just get so paranoid that I'm not going to receive what I'd intended. However Gilt Groupe and Paul & Joe came through and I'm officially in love and impressed once again.

The bag is made of a gorgeous red suede. The front flap has a nice ribbed design that really adds to the bag but at the same time keeps it simple. I can't stand overly- accented and obnoxiously colored bags. This bag is perfect for me because it's a bright color (out of my comfort zone) but it is still classic and simple.

I love the clasp. It is a simple lock-in clip that is well-made and won't come undone. Keeping my belongings safe.

A zip pocket for valuables. Two side pockets for my iPod and Blackberry. Large inside pocket for everything else.

I was so excited to see that this bag has two large inside pockets separted by a divider. This bag is the perfect size. It has so much room for storage without being excessive.

Perfect for holding my HOBO International wallet and Blackberry

This bag was originally € 280 ($374) but by ordering it on Gilt Groupe I was able to snag it for around $150, still pricey but over 70% off!

I will definitely be using this bag daily now! I can't wait to wear it :)

Champagne Pink Shimmery Neutrals

I love wearing neutral shimmery makeup all year long. But I notice in winter my love for this type of makeup specifically comes out. I adore wearing big sweaters, leggings, and boots paired with neutral pink lips, brown/blue shimmery eyes and bronzed frosty nails. Check out some of my current faves that I use to achieve this look.

Here are some of my favorite face products to use during the winter. I specifically love the Nars multiple for highlighting my cheeks. I use the Bare Escentuals mineral veil for all-over shimmer.

As you can see I am obsessed with MAC, specifically MAC paint pots. They are the perfect base for any eyeshadow. The MAC is one I customed created with the 4 shadows I use to create my everyday eyeshadow look: Shroom on the lid and brow bone, Sable on the outer half of the lid, Soft Brown in the outer crease, Nehru in the inner crease and lower lash line.

Soft Nude is by far my favorite neutral pink lipstick. What's also nice is that it's affordable and can be bought at any drugstore. Moth to Flame is a great shimmery lip gloss. Ruffle is great sleek nude lip gloss.

MAC Soiree is my current favorite nail polish from the MAC Cham Pale collection. It is the perfect shimmery bronzed/pink/golden polish. So glamorous and perfect.

What are your go-to products for that perfect shimmery winter look? Let me know and give me some suggestions for products I should pick up :)

Shorts & Wedges in the Winter

For the first time I've decided to incorporate shorts into my winter wardrobe. I'm a big fan of tights and leggings and I feel like adding a pair of silky or tweed shorts really makes the look come together. Especially when paired with a cozy sweater and heeled wedges. Thanks to the up and down weather in North Carolina a warm day came around and I was able to venture out and take some pictures without a coat.

My Outfit:
Shorts: Forever21 / Sweater: J Crew / Laced Heeled Wedges: Rachel Roy / Tights: Donna Karan / Necklace: Forever21 / Watch: Michael Kors / Tote: Burberry / Aviator Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs

Let me know what you think! Also let me know if you'd like me to do more personal fashion posts like this.

Paul & Joe Sister Clark II Bag

For the past five months I have been on the search for the perfect winter handbag. Almost every bag I own is either black or brown and I've decided it's time to switch it up and go for a bag that's colorful.

I've been eyeing Paul & Joe accessories for a while and I was beyond excited when a sample sale accessories sale popped up on Gilt Groupe today.

Check out my latest purchase below. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Here is picture of the bag in black, although I got it in red

I've noticed the red handbag trend is big this season so I'm excited to wear this bag with all my black clothing.
