Purple Haze

This is the first time I’ve worn this Free People tunic since high school. I never could quite figure out how to style it in a way I felt comfortable. When I originally bought it I think I was planning on wearing it without a tank underneath…CLEARLY that was a bad idea, unless I was anticipating flashing my chest to my entire school. I came up with a solution to my awkward tunic quandary by layering an embroidered tank underneath and by pairing it with leggings. I’ve worn this tunic with jeans and I remember it felt so awkward because the tunic is almost long enough to wear as a dress, but with leggings I think it works. I added in the cinched-at-the-waist belt not because it was necessary, but just for another shade of purple.

 I was wearing…
Free People tunic (old)
Free People tank (old)
Zara faux fur jacket
J. Crew patent leather belt (similar here)
14k gold nameplate necklace
