Rugged Fancy

 

For a the past few months I've been searching for the perfect tartan shirt for fall. So when I stumbled upon this one on sale at jcrew.com I knew I immediately had to snatch it up. In these photos I am casually wearing it on its own but I have to admit the main reason I bought it was to layer it underneath crewneck sweaters. I just love the look of a bold button-up shirt peeking out from the bottom of a sweater or in the collar area. I paired my shirt with baggy jeans and a simple quilted bag. I've fallen in love with this one I received from Handbag Heaven. It reminds me so much of the Chanel 2.55 bag -- minus the hefty price tag!
