Every so often a trend comes along that I know with all my heart I want to dislike but no matter how hard I try I just can’t. This summer I know that trend will be tribal print. It goes against everything that makes up my personal style. It’s bright, busy, and loud — very opposite from my simplistic, subdued taste. But as they say “opposites do attract” or at least sometimes attract…so this summer I plan on embracing my wild side.
3. Juicy Couture – White Clay Tiered Skirt – $105
4. TopShop – Tribal Strap Top by Rare – $58
5. Proenza Schouler – Cap Sleeve Top in Print Shibori – $625
6. Milly – Tribal Cotton and Silk Blend Top – $225
What do you think of the tribal print trend? Is it here to stay? Or is it just a season trend? Leave me a comment below!
If you ask anyone they’d describe my style as simple and feminine but lately I’ve been trying to branch out of my comfort zone by exploring more “edgy” looks. I really love these leather motorcycle boots from Wanted. They’re comfortable, casual, and really can make any jeans + t-shirt look a little more rocker-girl chic. I’ve never owned motorcycle boots before so I can’t wait to break these in!
Check out this set I made on Polyvore (add me as a contact if you have an account!) It’s my ideal casual outfit featuring motorcycle boots.
