Here is both Madge's unretouched and retouched photos side-by-side.
I'm really not one to promote retouching but in this case I think it's necessary. Madge's arm veins and strange muscle definition are just too freaky to keep in an ad. Good thing they retouched, bad thing these photos got released. D&G should work on keeping their office doors locked!
I don't even really understand why D&G is using her as a spokesmodel. When I think of D&G I think of actresses and models like Megan Fox, Kate Moss, and Scarlett Johansson. To me D&G is a brand that is sultry and sexy. These are not words I think of when someone says "Madonna."
Here are some more unretouched and retouched celebrity photos! For those interested in producing great looking pictures, Guide to Career Education offers photography and art courses.
I love Kim K, cellulite and all. She is gorgeous and I'd be happy to look at any picture of her.
Here is Katherine Heigl before and after retouching. They definitely slimmed her waist and breasts in the retouched photo as well as colored her skin. I can really only notice the difference because I knew ahead of time that the picture on the right was retouched.
What do you think about celebrity retouching? Necessary or unnecessary? What do you think about Madonna as a D&G spokesmodel? Hit or Miss for D&G?
Let me know!
